We source our cacao through partners who embrace Transparent Trade, ensuring traceability, fair pricing, and meaningful farmer connections. By publishing verifiable pricing data at every step, Transparent Trade ensures farmers are paid fairly for quality cacao, empowering them to grow exceptional beans using natural, traditional methods.


Once sourced, we small-batch roast the beans to unlock their fullest flavor potential, using roast profiles designed specifically for brewing cacao rather than traditional chocolate making. After roasting, the beans are ground to a consistency and coarseness that we’ve perfected to allow for the best brewing experience —rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying in every 'cupacao!'

Nestled in the lush, biodiverse landscapes of South Cotabato, Philippines, Kablon Farms produces some of the richest, most chocolatey cacao beans we’ve ever tasted. This exceptional flavor is no accident—it’s the result of four generations of dedication by the Pantua family, who have cultivated their land with care, sustainability, and a deep respect for tradition.

Cacao has been part of Filipino culture since the 1700s, when seedlings were first brought from Mexico by a Spanish colonist. At Kablon Farms, this heritage is alive and thriving. Founded by Ernesto “Lolo Teto” Pantua and his wife, Dr. Leonor “Lola Leoring” Pantua, the farm began as a dream to transform a small parcel of land into a sustainable haven. Today, their son Ernesto Jr. (Tito Jun) continues their vision, growing cacao in harmony with coconuts, fruits, and spices in a biodiverse agroforestry system that enhances both the land and the flavor of the beans.

The Pantua family’s commitment to organic farming and meticulous processing methods—fermenting and sun-drying the beans—results in cacao with unparalleled chocolatey richness. This cacao is more than just a bean; it’s a story of family values, innovation, and a connection to the vibrant heritage of Filipino cacao.
